I received a sms about 6pm yesterday about the furhter reduction in petrol price beginning 12am this morning. Just to make sure that the sms was accurate, I waited for the evening news and night news to confirm and it was an accurate info.

My first reaction was !@#$@$*%&#*@##. I had just refilled my car to full tank the day before and now these people are telling me they’ll reduce the price further??? Come on, you’ve got to be kidding. When they need to increase, it was one time deal jumping skyrocket by 41% and now when it’s time to reduce, moving slower than tortoise to lower the petrol price.

Can’t these people actually think more and think in depth? In less than half a year, the crude oil hit the peak of USD145.95 and now dived to USD81.56. Okay, so you can say that the price change had been too drastic and significant but as a nation itself, don’t you have something to cushion the effect. This is the 3rd time in less than six months after the announcement of petrol price increase from RM1.92 to RM2.70 and then dropped to RM2.55, RM2.45 and now RM2.30

Not that i want to complain much but just look at the ripple effects that happened due to the petrol price increase. Everything went up and lots of people complained and even used the opportunity as an excuse to raise the price. Now tell me, the price has dropped RM2.30 by Oct 15, do you think people will lower their selling price once they had increased it??? Hell, no!!!!

Well, at least i should be happy that petrol has gone reduced to RM2.30. You might said this is just RM19.8% increase, compared to 41%, this is still bearable… Don’t be crazy lar… still bearable??? And after all these things, they still claim inflation rate still remains low around 6%.  I wonder if there’s gonna be another round of petrol price reduction again…
