Calling all mainland people!!!

Finally, a karaoke at the mainland… no more having to go all the way to Redbox for Karaoke sessions. We spotted a new karaoke outlet that would be opening soon at Sunway Carnival, next to the GSC cinema. Based on the large banner hanged outside, Amp Square Karaoke will commence operation today, October 15… wow.. seems like all the good things happening on this date huh? :)

The concept will be slightly similar to Redbox as we noticed there was an area for buffet spread just next to the entrance. Can’t wait to sing to our hearts content and no need to travel that far too… Hahah Red box will lose some business especially from the mainlanders….

But the question remains, can this new karaoke outlet sustain its business??? Only time will tell..

Hope another outlet will be opened at island too. Red box is very rude nowadays. I prefer Neway!

let’s hope this one is successful so it’ll give Redbox a competition… Then they can learn their lesson NEVER to be rude to customers!

Neway only available at KL. They package is very attractive. Somemore they use wireless mic.

Neway has a branch at JB too…. i prefer Neway too… went to their buffet-k few yrs back in JB, guess what, i tasted oyster, fresh shashimi le…

hi! i jz registered for membership for free at Amp Square. they doin this promo. but duno til when lah..it looks more classy than Red Box. and true, redbox’s staffs are rude and for heaven’s sake they seem to onli be able to converse in cantonese. This is Penang. u need to learn hokkien, and some ENGLISH pls. Ur not at HongKong or KL.

Amp Square membership gvs u 10% discounts on weekdays. Heard Neways suppose to open at Queensbay but somehow it died down..

yea, i do agree the staff must learn to speak hokkien instead, this is Penang!!! Of course, if can’t speak hokkien, a little bit of English is fine….
