The Government official extension - .gov or .goy ?
We were on our way home from Jusco Seberang Perai when we saw this sign at the traffic light junction displaying the sign for Atomic Energy Licensing Board. Some of this government department, we really seldom hear of, unless you have a business with them-la.
Anyway, what actually caught my attention was the url of this government department. Notice the extension at the back that said “goy” ? Hmmm… is that a new web extension for the government? Hahah don’t think so lar.. just try the URL and see if can work or not lor.. well, i did and can’t work lor.. hahaha
Wonder why they never check properly all the information and just erect that thing up there? Haiyoh… where’s the QC check??

yea, this is how things work in Malaysia. One person who got the contract will pass on the next person while taking the commission and later that person would pass to other persons taking commissions for himself too. this continue to happen until the portion is too small to pass on, just get someone to do the job…

This is how the tendering works. The Govt issues out a tender and “someone” they know gets the job. The job is for RM50,000. He then passes job to someone to do for RM20,000 who then passes it on to another for RM5000. He then passes it on for RM500 who then passes it on to the final Bangla contractor to do for RM100. Somehow the GOV became GOY. To foreigners why fuss over V or Y,….. looks the same. It could have been worst. It could have become GOD or BOY or GAY. Hey what do you expect for RM100?
Oh about the QC, I can confirm that it has gone thru the QC already. Lagi worst without the QC.
